Sand and Gravel

All sand and gravel produced on the site complies with the FPC (Factory Production Control) accreditation.

Production, storage, testing and conformity control for:

• Concreting aggregates to BS EN 12620
• Unbound aggregates to BS EN 13242
• Aggregates for mortar to BS EN 13139

This also details the nature of inspections and the frequency of sampling, testing and conformity.

Concrete Blocks

The concrete blocks produced at Bromfield Sand and Gravel are under the quality management system standard of BS EN 9001 and are in conformity to BS EN 771-3 for category 1 blocks.
